Western Ontario Girls Hockey League - WOGHL was introduced in the late 90's early 2000's to offer a League for C and HL level in smaller associations in the area West of Kitchener Waterloo.  The League was established by Jeff Jackson to offer a formal league for C and HL. 

In 2022-23 WOGHL was at 101 teams ranging from U9-U18.  In 2023-24 the 30+ associations approched the League to offer B Loops, the first season was very successful in the offering of the B Loops with 59 total B level teams from U11-U18.  The 2023-24 season saw the overall teams registered grow to 169 from the previous year 101 ranging from U9-U18.

2022 saw the return of the All Star Games for U11-U18 with any category having more than 10 teams participating.  Central Perth was the host and set the bar high for the future hosts.  2023 the North Middlesex Jr Stars played host to the event and knocked it out of the park with a spectacular event and memories for a lifetime for the players participating.

2022 was our first ever Day of Champions to conclude the season and playoffs, Ilderton Minor Hockey hosted in Komoka and it was a great event.  2023 was hosted @ 2 venues Clinton and Zurich by the Huron Heat and was very successful and well recieved by all participating final teams.

In 2023-24 Our geographic footprint has grown in the East to Grand River (Elora/Fergus) and the West to include Windsor.

2024-25 we added BB to the U15 and U18 age groups.

A total of 205 teams registered for the 2024-25 season in U9-U18.

The geographic footprint has grown again in 2024-25 encompassing Owen Sound in the North/East to Windsor in the South/West
